Weslo Treadmill Reviews

The Weslo treadmills, like the ProForm brand, are also produced by Icon Health and Fitness. If you have read our ProForm treadmill review then you are already familiar with the other exercise equipment brands that Icon produces (NordicTrack, Epic, ProForm, Reebok and Image). Icon Health and Fitness is the largest exercise equipment manufacture employing thousands of people at various locations around the globe.

Not only does the Weslo brand carry the lowest priced treadmills produced by Icon Fitness, they are also one of the lowest priced treadmills available today.  However that being said, the Weslo brand may not be the best choice even if you are in the market for a budget treadmill.  The Weslo treadmills start out at around $200 and go up from there.  If your plans are to use a treadmill for light or moderate use, for example walking, and $200 is around the maximum amount of money you are able to spend on a treadmill then by all means consider purchasing a Weslo treadmill.  However if your budget has a little more breathing room then for an extra few hundred dollars you really should consider a treadmill from the ProForm brand.  The ProForm brand treadmills come with a much better warranty and are one of the better treadmill brands in the budget price range.

Anyone that plans to use a treadmill for heavy running would better off passing on any of the budget treadmills.  Realistically the mid to high-end treadmills are designed for the more serious athletes.  They come at a much higher initial cost but in all fairness the entry level models just are not designed for high impact use.  The Weslo treadmills are fine for those that cannot afford a better brand, but don’t expect them to last forever and don’t expect a warranty that matches any of the elite brands.
