* SMR™ Product review: The Weslo ellipticals are interesting machines with their strongest features being the price. The Momentum 745 maintains this trend even if it is several hundred dollars more than its predecessors (Momentum 620, 630 and 220 X). The stride length is decent at 17.5 inches, not the best stride length but good for a budget machine. Also the oversized pedals and the Easy Pulse™ Heart Rate Monitor on the hand grips are nice features for this machine. However the real problem lies with the quality of this elliptical trainer. The Weslo Momentum 745 did receive praises from Treadmill Doctor on the design but also received complaints regarding the overall quality of this machine. We have also come across several other reviews on the web where different individuals complained about this elliptical being both noisy and unstable. Another common complaint with this elliptical is that it is very difficult to assemble. From what we have read in various reviews it can take several hours to put this machine together. Those that decide to purchase this elliptical would be better off paying any additional fees, if offered, to have this machine put together for them. As with the other Weslo models this elliptical should be avoided. The low quality parts and quality issues make this machine an unattractive buy even if it falls under a budget price.
