Product review:

The Weslo Momentum 220 X is another entry level elliptical offered under the Weslo brand.  It has a lot more to offer over the Weslo Momentum 620 and Weslo Momentum 630 models with a much longer stride length and additional personal trainer workouts.  The stride length for this elliptical trainer is at 18 inches which is pretty good for such a budget price machine.  For those that do not know what the stride length is it is the farthest distance from the pedals.  The longer the stride the more emphasis put on the quadriceps muscles.

Overall, most of the reviews that we have come across for the Momentum 220 X fall under the average range.  There are complaints that some of the users found the Momentum 220 X very difficult to assemble.  However, more important than the assembly issues is that there are a number of complaints pointing out the quality issues with this product.  Some of the customer reviews that we looked at complained that this elliptical trainer broke within a short time frame.  Unfortunately, this really isn't a surprise for an elliptical trainer that falls in this price range. 

In all reality any elliptical trainer sold under $300 is not going to be made with quality parts.  You really are better off saving you money and investing in a better brand.  If all you can afford is a budget elliptical then the best recommendation is to avoid this model and start your research with the ProForm brand.  ProForm is a sister company of Weslo and makes a much better elliptical in the budget market.
