Weslo Cadence GTX Treadmill ReviewIs the Weslo Cadence GTX treadmill any good?
Weslo Cadence GTX Review Product
description:
The Weslo Cadence GTX treadmill is a better treadmill than the Cardio Stride Plus and Cadence 55 treadmills. The 2.25 HP motor is an improvement over the other two models and the treadmill deck does come with a larger walking surface. Overall the warranty is comparable to other treadmills in its price range. There is a 1-year warranty offered for the motor with only a 90-day warranty for the parts.

Product review: We are not a fan of the Weslo treadmill line and would recommend the ProForm brand for anyone that is looking for a bargain treadmill. Both the Weslo and ProForm treadmills are part of the same Icon Health and Fitness company. Weslo just happens to produce the most inexpensive treadmills that Icon manufactures. However, the ProForm treadmills are also considered to be priced in the "bargain" market, they just come at a slightly higher cost than the Weslo line. If the Weslo treadmill line makes more sense with your budget at this time, then we would recommend considering the Cadence GTX over the Cardio Stride Plus and Cadence 55 models. The more powerful motor and the longer belt size for $299 price range takes the other two models out of the competition. The Cardio Stride Plus treadmill does not even come with a motor so in all reality it should not be considered when comparing it with any of the other Weslo treadmills. Now when comparing the Cadence GTX and the Cadence 25 treadmills you will see that both models have similar offerings. The Cadence GTX and the Cadence 25 treadmills both come with a 2.25 HP motor however the GTX does edge out the Cadence 25 with a little bit longer walking surface. However, the Cadence 25 model comes with a better warranty with a 2-year warranty for the motor. It is a toss up between the two models since their pricing is about equal. The longer walking surface is a plus for the GTX but you are only gaining two inches over the Cadence 25. If you had to pick between the two the warranty does make the Cadence 25 treadmill the more attractive buy. Warranty Information The warranty offered is 1-year for the motor and 90-day for parts and labor.
