Product review:

About the Motor

The Spirit ET2 treadmill comes with a 2.0 HP continuous duty motor.  The motor is backed by a 20-year warranty.

Treadmill Belt

The treadmill belt at 20" x 50" for the Spirit ET2 is on the small size when compared to other treadmills in its price bracket.

Workout Programs and Features

The Spirit ET2  is comes with 10 preset workout programs plus two custom programs.  The treadmill also includes other features such as Heart Rate Control.  The ET2 also includes the Soft-Drop easy assist feature to help safely lower the treadmill deck to the floor.

Warranty

The Spirit ET2 comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and a 20-year warranty on the motor.  The warranty also includes 5-years for the deck, 2-years for parts and 1-year for labor

Conclusion

The Spirit ET2 is the new Spirit Z series treadmill.  It is a solid walking treadmill but is not designed for heavy runners.  If you are a serious runner you will need to look at treadmills that start in the $1,500 and on up price range.  However, the 210 pounds on this treadmill should accommodate most users up to the 275 pound weight limit.

The ET2 comes with a decent size motor but the treadmill deck length is a little short.  The ET2 is probably best compared to the Sole F63 Treadmill which runs a couple hundred dollars less.   The best bet is to save a couple hundred dollars and get the Sole F63 instead.
