Conclusion
The Smooth Agile DMT-X1 is a new breed of elliptical trainers that follows along the same lines as the Agile DMT model. For those that are not familiar with the Agile DMT elliptical trainer, it is an innovative machine that includes 12 additional ranges of motion in addition to the traditional elliptical motion.  By changing the range of motion of the exercise you put more emphasis on additional muscles during the workout.  This ends up creating a more productive and overall total body workout. 

If there was one discouraging component for purchasing the Agile DMT it would most likely be the price.  The cost for the Agile DMT is around $3,000 and may be out of reach for a lot of budgets.  However, an alternative to the Agile DMT is the Agile DMT-X1 model which is a smaller, lighter and more affordable version bigger elliptical trainer. 

Keep in mind that the Agile DMT is still the better machine.  The DMT comes with features like a longer stride length, a better console and is constructed with a better grade of materials that can support a higher maximum user weight.  However the DMT X1 is still an excellent and well built machine with a $1,000 cheaper price tag.  The X1  model also includes the 12 adjustable ranges of motion feature which is the main component of the bigger sibling.  Also included with the X1 model are the same great features like the hand grip pulse sensors, built-in fan, wireless heart rate control and much more. 

In conclusion if you are looking for something like the Agile DMT but can't afford the bigger sibling the DMT-X1 is a great choice.  Like the bigger machine, the DMT-X1 is more than an elliptical trainer and will provide the same great workout.
