About the Motor

The Smooth 6.45M 3.0 Continuous Duty motor uses the Whisper technology to have one of the quietest motors available.  Smooth Fitness has also included dual fans that are used to help prolong the life of the motor.  The motor is backed with a lifetime warranty.

About the Treadmill Deck

The Smooth 6.45M uses the patented Swing Shock Absorption to reduce the impact caused from walking and running on the treadmill.  The shock absorption produces a shake-free treadmill commonly found in many of the more expensive commercial models.

Warranty Information

The 6.45M treadmill comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame and the motor.   There is a 5-year warranty on all parts with a 2-year warranty for labors.

Conclusion

The Smooth 6.45M is the same great treadmill as the Smooth 6.45 model with the addition of a sound system.  The treadmill cost about $100 more than the 6.45 model which is a good deal for anyone that is looking for a treadmill with the built-in sound system.  If you are fine listening to your iPod with the earplugs then save yourself the $100 and buy the 6.45 model.

Like the Smooth 6.45 treadmill, the 6.45M also comes with the long running deck at 20" x 60".  The decks length is great for those that are taller than average or anyone that runs with a long stride.  The treadmill is a very good buy and well priced at the mid-$1000 price range.
