ProForm Treadmill Reviews

The ProForm treadmills are considered more of a budget treadmill coming in at the low to mid-range end of the price scale. The average price for their treadmills sits at around the mid $500 to a little over $1000.  Their pricing makes them an attractive machine for those looking for an entry level treadmill however they really are not suited well for the more serious athletes.

Ideally the ProForm treadmills are fitted best for those that plan to use it for light or moderate use. If your predominant need for a treadmill is for walking or light jogging then the ProForm treadmill will easily suit those needs. However, if you are a heavy runner or plan to use the treadmill for an extensive amount of time then you really should consider one of the mid to high-end brands. The mid-range on up models offers more stability, durability and has better cushioning. The downside however is the cost; some of the entry models for the high-end treadmills come at a much higher price tag than even the most expensive ProForm model.

Most of the reviews surrounding the ProForm treadmills have indicated that in the past durability has been an issue. ProForm has turned their treadmills around in recent years with improvements in the overall quality.  They are now one of the better brands offered in their price market offering a wide variety of good entry level treadmills to choose from.

Features

The ProForm treadmills come with a variety features and some of their more expensive models include luxuries like built-in TV’s and universal iPod docs. They also offer a few models with built-in fans to help cool you down during the workout. The standard features found in many of other treadmill brands are not overlooked either. The ProForm treadmills still include the staple features like heart rate control and a variety of fitness programs to choose from.

Warranty

The warranty for the ProForm treadmills is not all inclusive and varies from model to model. The key is to research the warranty for the individual models that you are interested in. The frame for most of their treadmills comes with a lifetime warranty; however the motor’s warranty varies from model to model.
