The ProForm 850 SpaceSaver elliptical machines with a stride length of 18".  The 18" stride length will accommodate average height users but will not be best suited for taller users.

ProForm 850 SpaceSaver Pacing Coach features uses lights to indicate when you need to speed up or slow down to get the most out of your workout.
 

About the 6 Personal Trainer Workouts & 2 Heart Rate Workouts
The personal trainer workouts automatically adjust the resistance of the elliptical trainer to focus on the different workout goals.
 

About the Space Saver design
The SpaceSaver design allows the elliptical to fold up for those that are limited on space.

Conclusion
The ProForm 850 SpaceSaver is one of those elliptical trainers that offers a few good features but not enough to justify the selling price.  The 850 Space Saver is still a budget elliptical trainer but at a price around $800 it still does not offer as many good features as some of the lesser expensive ProForm models.  The key feature for the SpaceSaver 850 is that this elliptical has the ability to fold for storage.  Those that are lacking in space may benefit from this feature but in all reality you are going to get more stability and durability out of a model that does not fold.
