Conclusion
The reviews for the ProForm Epic 1200 Pro elliptical trainer are very positive.  Most of the reviews that we have seen have indicated that this elliptical trainer is very sturdy and a good quality machine for the under $1000 price range.  However if there is one shining feature for this elliptical machine it has to be the power incline ramp.  If you have ever used a power incline on a treadmill then you are already familiar on how increasing the incline levels forces the legs and glutes to work even harder.  The same holds true for elliptical trainers.  By increasing the incline levels you force the legs and glutes to work that much harder during the workout.

if there is a downside to this elliptical it would have to be the stride length.  The 18" stride length is long enough to accommodate those that are of average height (5'8" or less), however taller users will find that the stride length is a little short.  Also, at price under $1000 this still is a budget elliptical trainer and should be used for moderate use.  Anyone that needs an elliptical for heavier use will need to begin their search in the mid to high-end price range ($1500 and up).  Budget elliptical are made with less expensive parts and are not going to be able to compete with the higher-end models on quality and durability.  They will however provide a good workout at a great price from those that are only looking for an elliptical for moderate use.
