About the stride length
The EFX 5.35 elliptical trainer comes with a variable stride length that ranges from 21 to 24.5 inches.  The stride length will accommodate taller users but may be too longer for those less than average height.

The arm positions can be easily adjusted to accommodate to focus more on lower or total body exercise modes.

About the 10 Preset Programs
The Precor EFX 5.35  comes with 10 built-in preset workout programs which includes Aerobic, Cross Training, Gluteals, 2 Heart Rates, Hill Climb, Interval, Manual and 2 Weigth Loss.

Warranty Information
The Precor 5.35 includes a lifetime warranty on the frame a 10-year warranty on parts and a 1-year warranty for labor.

Conclusion
The EFX 5.35 elliptical trainer is very similar to the more expensive 5.37 model except that the the 5.35 trainer comes with a few less built-in workout programs.  The 5.35 elliptical has been well received on sites like Treadmill Doctor.com as with many of the other Precor models it too is a very high quality and reliable elliptical trainer. 

The stride length for the 5.35 model is both a positive and negative feature for this elliptical trainer.  Those that are over 6 feet in height will enjoy the longer and adjustable stride length.  Unfortunately, those that are around 5 feet 8 inches and under may find that the stride length is just too long.  The Smooth Agile DMT may be a better fit for most shorter users since it retails for around the same price and comes with a wider stride length range and some additional features. 

Overall the 5.35 elliptical trainer is one of the best home elliptical machines that Precor has to offer.  The 5.35 elliptical is quiet, sturdy and a very dependable machine.
