Product review:
About the resistance The EFX 5.33 includes 20 different resistance levels.
The different levels of resistance help to build muscle strength and
stamina over the workout.
About the stride
length The EFX 5.33 elliptical trainer comes with a
variable stride length that ranges from 21 to 23 inches.
The stride length will accommodate taller users but may be too longer for
those less than average height.
About the CrossRamp The Precor
Crosstrainer ramp
(CrossRamp) is adjustable ranging from 15 to 30 degrees. The
different adjustments help to isolate and put more emphasis on the calves, glutes, hamstrings and quadriceps muscles.
About the handrails
The ergonomic moving handrails on the EFX 5.33
are designed to give a total body workout while comfortably maintaining
your posture throughout the exercise.
About
the 10 Preset Programs
The Precor EFX 5.33 comes with
10 built-in preset workout programs which includes two Heart Rate
Controls, Cross Training, Aerobic, Gluteals, Hill Climb, Interval,
Manual and two Weight Loss.
Warranty Information The 5.33 includes
a 10-year warranty on parts; 1 year on labor and a lifetime
warranty on the
frame.
Conclusion The EFX 5.33 elliptical trainer is loaded with
the same stride length and features as the EFX 5.31 with the exception
that the 5.33 also includes moving handlebars. The EFX 5.33 is
around $500 more than the 5.31 model so it is quite a bit more expensive
than its sibling. One thing to keep in mind between both models is
that the 5.31 and 5.33 both come with a long stride length. The
stride length is great for those that are over 6 feet tall but those
around 5'8" or under may find that the stride length is too long to meet
their needs.
