Conclusion
The EFX 5.25 is another solid elliptical trainer that is offered from Precor.  Precor has a reputation for building high quality and durable machines and the EFX 5.25 lives up to that reputation.  The 5.25 is a very smooth, quiet and solid elliptical machine.  However, quality is a common trait with all of the Precor elliptical trainers and there are additional features that make this machine standout over its smaller siblings.  For example, when comparing to the EFX 5.17i, the EFX 5.25 includes 8 built-in workout programs, verses only three, and moving handrails to give a total body workout.

The reviews for the EFX 5.25 are very positive however the most consistent negative comment that we could find for this elliptical is the price.  Other than that the reviews that we have seen for this exerciser have all been very positive.  Precor's exercise equipment is expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for.  It is no coincidence that you find a lot of the Precor elliptical trainers in many commercial gyms, their equipment is smooth, quiet and durable against heavy use.  Purchasing a Precor elliptical is an investment and for those that can afford it the Precor elliptical trainers are well worth considering.
