Orbitrek Elite Review
Product description:
The Orbitrek Elite is an As
Seen on TV exercise product that resembles a compact version of the larger
elliptical cross trainer machines. One of the key advantages that the
Orbitrek Elite has over its competition is that its unique design allows you
to combine both cardio and resistance training into your workout. This
exercise machine does more than just burn calories; it also sculpts the
muscles at the same time.
Orbitrek's unique "Turn and Burn" feature is the key to increasing and
decreasing the resistance levels. With the quick turn of a knob you can
quickly change the level of resistance resulting in a more challenging and
muscle shaping workout. However unlike some of the other exercisers out
there the Orbitrek Elite allows you to adjust the resistance mid-exercise to
help avoid any disruption in your workout routine.
This exerciser also is not just a lower body workout machine; instead it
targets the entire body. The resistance levels alone for this exerciser can
be adjusted to over 100 pounds putting you into the muscle building zone.
Combine that with cross trainer style of arms and what you end up with is a
complete body workout in one single session.
The Orbitrek Elite targets six major muscle groups during the workout, the
individual muscle groups used are:
- Buns
- Thighs
- Arms
- Shoulders
- Back
- Chest
How is this exerciser priced?
Compared to other elliptical trainers the Orbitrek Elite is a very
inexpensive machine costing around $199.95 plus and additional $39.95
shipping and handling.
What is included?
Depending on where purchased Thane Fitness offers the following with the
Orbitrek Elite:
- Total Body Express DVD (duration 20 minutes)
- Total Body Sculpting & Cardio DVD (duration 30 minutes)
- Fat Blasting Cardio DVD (duration 60 minutes)
- Orbitrek Elite 12-day Super Slim Down Plan
- 6 Weeks to a New You Food Guide
- Orbitrek Elite Instruction Manual
Customer Reviews
Most of the reviews that we have seen for the Orbitrek Elite are positive.
We did come across one customer review that stated that the exerciser is
noisy but for the most part this exerciser is well received machine.
The real benefits this workout machine has to offer is both its price and
compact design. The compact design alone helps with those that are already
limited in space. The design also makes this exerciser lighter and easier to
move around if needed. Most of the higher grade elliptical trainers are
pretty large machines so space may be an issue depending on what you are
looking for.
However with all that being said the Orbitrek Elite is not in the same
market as a higher end elliptical like the
Smooth
CE 2.7. The CE 2.7 comes at a much higher price tag and offers a whole
range of other features like an adjustable stride length, shock-absorbing
foot pedals, built-in fan and much more. The larger elliptical trainers,
like the CE 2.7, are going to be more dependable and durable machines over
the long haul. Nonetheless, anyone looking for a good cheap solution for
what elliptical trainers have to offer would benefit from giving the
Orbitrek Elite a serious look.
