About the StrideSelect Design
The SpaceSaver elliptical trainer uses the StrideSelect technology and comes with three different stride lengths.  The stride lengths range at 12", 15' and 18".  The 18" stride length will accommodate those that are average height and below.  Anyone that is over 6' tall will want to consider a stride length that starts at around 20".

About the 10 Workout Programs
The SpaceSaver comes with 10 built-in workout programs including eight personal trainer workouts and two heart rate workouts.

About the SpaceSaver Design
The SpaceSaver design separates this machine apart from many of the other budget elliptical trainers.  Like folding treadmills this elliptical trainer will fold freeing up space for those that have limited space for an exercise machine. 

Warranty Information
NordicTrack offers a lifetime warranty on the frame and a one year warranty for parts and in-home service on the SpaceSaver elliptical trainer.

Conclusion
The NordicTrack SpaceSaver elliptical trainer is one of the least expensive elliptical machines offered under the NordicTrack brand.  It comes packed with some nice features for a budget machine.  The three variable length StrideSelect, folding SpaceSaver design, oversized pedals and 10 workout programs are some of the star features for this machine.  The 18" stride length is also considered a good length for elliptical trainers in this price bracket.

However the NordicTrack SpaceSaver is an inexpensive budget machine that is made with inexpensive parts.  It will not perform as smoothly and quietly as some of the larger elliptical trainers.  Some of the reviews that we have seen have complimented this elliptical trainer for the extra features but also criticized it for being a noisy machine. 

Also the NordicTrack SpaceSaver is not going to preform or last as long as one of the mid to high-end brands.  Keep in mind that if you intend to use this elliptical for heavy use then you will be better off spending a bit more money for a more durable machine.  Also, anyone that is 6' or taller will want to consider a machine that has at least a 20" stride length.  As already noted the 18" stride is a good length for budget elliptical trainers but it will not accommodate taller users.

Overall this is a good elliptical for its price bracket.  It is not going to rival the quality of one of the Sole or Smooth Fitness ellipticals but it will provide a decent elliptical for a very reasonable price.
