About the StrideMax Incline Ramp
The StrideMax incline ramp included three manual adjustments to the incline with the maximum adjustment at 30 percent.  The incline adjustments help put focus on different muscle groups during the workout. 

About the iFIT Workout Card w/speakers
Each iFit workout card is designed by a personal trainer to automatically adjust your workout settings giving you the most out of your workout.  The iFit card plugs directly into the console and automatically adjust the elliptical settings to enhance the workout.

About the Stride Length
The AudioStrider 800 elliptical trainer comes with an 18" stride length. The 18" stride length will accommodate those that are average height and below.  Anyone that is over 6' tall will want to consider a stride length that starts at around 20".

About the 8 Workout Programs
The AudioStrider 800 comes with 8 built-in workout programs including six personal trainer workouts and two heart rate workouts.

About the SpaceSaver Design
The SpaceSaver design separates this machine apart from many of the other budget elliptical trainers.  Like folding treadmills this elliptical trainer will fold freeing up space for those that have limited space for an exercise machine. 

Warranty Information
NordicTrack offers a lifetime warranty on the frame a one year warranty for parts and in-home service on the AudioStrider 800 elliptical trainer.

Conclusion
The NordicTrack AudioStrider 800 is basically the same as the 990 model with a few less features.  The 990 model includes a few more workout programs and the StrideMax incline is powered verse manual in that model.  If your budget has room for a couple hundred dollars more to spend then the AudioStrider 990 would be the better buy.  Those on a limited budget will find that the AudioStrider 800 still has a lot to offer for an inexpensive machine.

The iFit workout card availability, StrideMax incline ramp and the ability to fold this elliptical really are great features for an elliptical trainer that falls under the $1000 price umbrella.  Even the 18" stride length, although too short for taller users, is still consider pretty good for a budget machine.  However, the main feature most emphasized on this elliptical trainer is the ability to play your MP3 player through the music port.  Those that prefer to workout without a headset on will benefit from this feature. 

Keep in mind that this is a budget elliptical trainer and as such is made my inexpensive parts.  Budget ellipticals are built mainly for moderate use and anyone that needs an elliptical trainer for heavier use will need to spend a considerable more amount of money for a mid to high-end machine.  Also budget elliptical trainers are not as quiet and smooth as the more expensive models so for the price it is unfair to compare this model to something like a Precor elliptical machine.

Overall this is a good budget elliptical trainer that comes with some impressive features.  The warranty is average at best so those considering purchasing this machine may want to consider an extended warranty.  It is well priced at around $700 but for a little more money the 990 model would be the recommended buy for anyone looking for an AudioStrider elliptical trainer.
