About Horizon Elliptical Trainers
Horizon Fitness is one of
the larger producers of elliptical trainers. They manufacture
affordable machines that fall under the budget and moderate price
categories. Their entry level model starts at around
$600 with the most expensive model
priced right under $1,000. For a company that falls under
the economically price label, Horizon impressively produces a
large variety of elliptical trainers that also include some
pretty nice
features.
Considering that they are a "budget"
machine, the Horizon elliptical trainers have a lot to offer. Their
elliptical machines are built with very good stride lengths considering that their
least expensive model has a stride length of 18
inches. Some of the other elliptical trainers in this price class come
with a stride length that is a few inches shorter making the stride length
on the Horizon elliptical machines a more impressive feature. For those
that are not familiar with what a stride length is, it is
basically the farthest distance between the
pedals. The stride length is important because a longer
length is necessary to accommodate both taller users and those
that wish to use a longer stride during the
exercise. The longer the stride used during the
workout the more emphasis that are placed on the quadriceps
muscles.
For the most part the reviews for the
Horizon elliptical trainers are very good. However, they are classified as
budget elliptical trainers and these machines are ideally only
built for moderate use. Anyone that plans on heavy use
for their elliptical trainer would be better off considering one of
the more expensive brands.

Warranty
The warranty for the Horizon elliptical
trainers
does vary depending on which model is being considered. For the
most part the elliptical trainers typically fall under a
lifetime warranty for the frame (some offer a lifetime warranty for the
brake as well), 1 to 2-year warranty for parts and around a 1-year
warranty for labor. Keep in mind that this is a generalization of the warranties offered, the
