Cardio Twister Reviews
Product description
The Cardio Twister in a
nutshell is a unique stair stepper with an added twist (pun
intended). Unlike traditional steppers which only include an up and
down range of motion, the Cardio Twister uses a bidirectional motion that
moves the legs both up and down and in and out. The in and out
movements on this stepper targets the leg muscles from all angles creating
a more balanced lower body workout. However, there is much more that
this exercise equipment has to offer.
Unlike traditional steppers the Cardio Twister also works out the core muscles in addition to the lower body workout. A long handlebar connects to the base of the exerciser which swings your upper body from side to side. The pivoting movement not only helps to burn additional calories but also targets the shoulders, arms, chest, back and abdominal muscles during the workout.
The resistance levels for the Cardio Twister can also be adjusted allowing you to switch from a fat burning to more of a shaping workout. For example, a higher resistance level puts the focus on developing and strengthening the quads while the lower resistance levels help to increase the intensity of the workout.

Cardio Twister Reviews
One of the key issues
with a lot of “As Seen on TV” fitness products is that on the surface it
is hard to tell if the exerciser is legit or just another gimmick.
Although not always conclusive, taking a close look at the product’s
marketing claims helps to judge if purchasing the exerciser is worth the
gamble. If the marketing claims are so farfetched that they are too
good to be true then chances are better than none that the product is
probably a gimmick.
Unfortunately the promise shelled out from the Cardio Twister’s infomercial does raise a few alarms. For one, the infomercial boldly claims that you can lose up to 10 inches in only 10 days. The problem with these types of allegations is that they really do destroy the products credibility. Very few people are capable of achieving these types of results even when on the strictest diets and the most advanced workout routines. Those types of results are not impossible, just unrealistic for the majority of those that chose to use this product.
Some of the testimonies on the product’s website also claim a weight loss of 10 pounds in the first 10 days. Most people that go from a sedentary lifestyle to one that includes a serious diet and workout regimen should be able to lose 10 pounds in only 10 days. The reason being is because the 10 pound weight loss is made of other things besides fat. Most of the weight reduction in the beginning is actually due to water loss in addition to body fat loss. Losing 10 pounds of fat in only 10 days is not only unrealistic but also unhealthy. The reason being is that in order for you to burn one pound of fat you have to burn an additional 3500 calories over what you consume. Burning 3500 to 7000 extra calories is achievable however to burn 10 pounds of fat in a 10 day window you would have to burn and additional 35000 more calories. So a person on a low calorie diet of only 1000 calories a day would have to burn 4500 calories a day over the 10 day window to lose 10 pounds of fat.
Outside the alarms raised by the marketing claims there are a few negative reviews on sites like Amazon.com and other resources on the web. Most of the complaints that we have seen comment that the exerciser is noisy with a jerky movement. Customers also complained that the resistance does not work well and the overall the exerciser feels cheap. The design has been criticized as well and there are customer comments that the exerciser is also probably designed for those that are not that tall (which should be taken into consideration for anyone that is 6’ or taller).
Although we did not find a ton of negative reviews for this product the real issue is that we did not find any non-biased positive ones either. Sure there were websites claiming that this exerciser was the best thing since sliced bread however the motives were questionable since they were either selling or promoting the sale of the exerciser. In conclusion, it is hard to recommend this exerciser with the marketing claims and customer issues that we have seen. At a price tag over $200 there are better options out there.
