Air Climber
Reviews
Overall the reviews that we have come across for the
Tristar Air Climber seem to be evenly distributed between those to do and
do not like this machine. The reviews range anywhere from some
customers thinking that this exerciser is a waste of money to other users
indicating that the Air Climber not only delivers a great workout but is
also a sound investment.
Out of the majority of the reviews that we have seen, both the positive and the negative, the standout feature for the Air Climber is its small and compact design. The Air Climber does not consume a lot of space like a traditional stair stepper and is easily storable when not in use. Those that prefer to work out while watching television will enjoy that this exercise equipment can effortlessly be placed in front of the TV while they work out in front of their favorite shows.
The Tristar Air Climber is also includes resistance cords to help create an entire body workout by incorporating the upper body into the mix. We came across some reviews indicating that the resistance bands were not made from quality materials but other reviews have implied that the quality for this product has improved since its initial release.
The quality issues are really what make up the negative comments for this exerciser. There are quite a few reviews out there where the commenter did not have issues with the quality of the workout but instead the quality of the Air Climber itself. Some reviewers complained that the Air Climber is noisy while others commented that the exerciser was not very durable at all.
We also came across a few comments stating that the Air Climber is hard on the knees. The reviews however were not consistent enough for us to believe that this was because of a design issue with this exerciser. In actuality it is possible that reviewers that did experience knee issues may have similar problems with the other stair stepper models that are available. Anyone with a preexisting knee problem may want to pass on this exerciser and look at something that is a little friendlier on the knees (like an elliptical trainer).
Conclusion
Overall the reviews for the Air Climber are
pretty good. The small compact design makes this exerciser a great
choice for anyone that is limited on space. At a little over $100
price tag the Air Climber is cheaper than a traditional stair stepper and
a good choice for those beginning their workout journey. This
exerciser is not going to provide the durability and resistance levels you
expect from its larger sibling but is a good tool to get anyone started on
their weight loss journey.
