AbCoaster Reviews
Product description
The Ab Coaster functionally works the abdominal muscles by mimicking the movement used for hanging leg raises. Hanging leg raises are one of the staple abdominal exercises used for developing a strong midsection. However, the problem with the problem with hanging leg raises is that they require a lot of upper body strength and are not easily executed by everyone. The Ab Coaster solves this problem by providing an exerciser that is uniquely designed to perform leg raises without adding any stress to the upper body.

AbCoaster Review
The reviews for the Ab Coaster are very good and there are a lot of testimonies out there showing impressive progress pictures from people that have used the exerciser. Most of the credible reviews that we have seen comment on how the reviewers incorporated using the Ab Coaster with an existing workout routine. This is important to point out because the Ab Coaster will strengthen and develop the abdominal muscles but on its own it is not going to transform a persons physique into the body of their dreams.
The Ab Coaster is a tool that will achieve the best results when it is used in conjunction with a solid nutrition and workout program. Keep in mind that this is not just an isolated case with the AbCoaster, this is the case with any abdominal exerciser. The abdominal muscles are too small for anyone to achieve a lean physique by exclusively training only those muscles. The best way to maximize fat loss is to use the larger muscles, such the legs, since they are more efficient for burning fat during cardio workouts. However, that's not to say that having a strict core workout plan is a waste of time either. Adding an abdominal workout plan to an existing routine will only speed up your progress. Also, there are other benefits for training the abdominal muscles besides just burning away the belly fat. Strengthening the core muscles helps to prevent injury and also improves ones posture.
The Ab Coster is effective for working out the abdominal region. Functionally the exerciser works by mimicking the hanging leg raise exercise. Those that are familiar with hanging leg raises already know that they are one of the staple exercises for developing and strengthening the abdominal region. The problem with hanging leg raises is that they require a lot of upper body strength and are difficult to complete. The Ab Coaster eliminates the difficulty with its unique design. The knees sit on a pad that is secured to a railing system which connects the base of the exerciser all the way to the handle bars. One way to describe the railing is that it mimics the design of the rails on a roller coaster. You execute the exercise by sliding or coasting the seat from the base of the rail towards the handlebars. As you pull the knees towards the chest the movement mimics the same movement used for hanging leg raises. Unlike hanging leg raises there is no stress on the upper body to support your entire body weight. An additional benefit of the AbCoster is that additional weights can also be added at the base of the seat to increase the resistance for the exercise.
Like hanging leg raises, the Ab Coaster doesn't just work the front abdominal muscles. The seat that the knees rest on also swivels and twist to the left and the right allowing you to workout the outer obliques in addition to the front abdominal muscles. The seat is easy enough to twist in mid movement so there is no need to setup a specific angle before the exercise begin's. There is also a built-in counter to help you keep track of your repetitions as you progress through the exercise.
For an abdominal exerciser the Ab Coaster's unique design is a revolutionary machine. However, that being said it is not the perfect abdominal exerciser for everyone. The real problem with the Ab Coaster is not whether or not it works but the actually cost of the machine. The $400 price tag, even though it is broken down into four monthly payments, for this exerciser seems to be a littlesteep. It may be a one time investment but considering the cost for an "ab machine" it still is and expensive tool for just working out the abdominal muscles. If you have an additional $400 laying around and are looking to invest it in a good abdominal exerciser then by all means the Ab Coaster will meet your needs. However, if you are limited on funds and are looking to buy only one piece of home exercise equipment then our recommendation is to pass on this machine and put the money towards a good treadmill or elliptical trainer.
