10 Minute Trainer - Workout for the Busiest People10 Minute Trainer Reviews
The 10 Minute Trainer is another Beachbody product that was put together by fitness expert Tony Horton.  Tony is the creator of the widely popular P90X workout system and his 10 Minute Trainer program claims that you can get great results by only working out 10 minutes a day.  The product stands behind these claims because it is designed around a concept called stacking.  In a nutshell, stacking hits several muscle groups at the same time and the exercise program combines workouts so that you benefit from both a cardio and individual muscle workout.

Although the 10 Minute Trainer is advertised as a 10 minute workout, in all reality those seeking better than average results will need to invest more than 10 minutes of their day into the workout program.  The actual individual workout time slightly exceeds the 10 minute time frame since there is both a warm-up and cool down phase at the beginning and end of the program.  This only adds a few minutes to the overall workout time and really should not be that big of an issue for anyone committing themselves to an exercise program.

However, those looking to achieve better than average results would benefit the most from combining several workout programs.  A single 10 minute workout is fine for those days in which your free time is a fleeting commodity; however, combining two to three workouts in a single day will help you realize your weight loss goals in a shorter time window.  In a lot of the reviews that we have seen the reviewers combine several programs throughout the week.  They tend to only save the single 10 minute workout session for those days that they are either low on time or the days that their exercise schedule recommends a shorter workout.  Even the Customized Workout Calendar that comes with the program merges the different workout programs together.  The additional workouts really do not add that much time to the overall program and in the long run will only increase the effectiveness of the entire program.

We have come across quite a few reviews warning that Tony Horton's 10 Minute workout programs is not for beginners.  The workouts are challenging and even more importantly are executed at a fast pace.  The 10 Minute Workout program may not be as challenging as Tony Horton's P90X program but it still may be too advanced for those that are just beginning their weight loss journey.  Depending on your current fitness level and exercise experience prior to starting the program, it may take some time for you to become comfortable with the workouts.

There are also several reviews out there outlining a few of the difficulties that come with this program.  For one, and as already noted, the workouts are performed at a very fast pace.  It really should be no surprise to anyone that a 10 minute workout program is going to require fast movements; however, increasing the speed also increases the difficulty of the program.  As with a lot of exercise programs, it may take some time before you can comfortably increase your endurance to be able to keep up with the exercises.

One of the other difficulties some reviewers found with the layout of the workout program was the cueing.  Some of the comments complained that there was not a lot of explanation on how to execute the individual exercises and you also end up just jumping from one exercise to another. One of the best reviewer comments that we saw for resolving this issue was a recommendation that you should watch the videos in their entirety prior to performing any of the exercises.  This will increase your familiarity with the program and you will know what to expect when you quickly switch from one exercise to another.

On the downside the 10 Minute Trainer program is not cheap.  The overall price comes to around $80 plus shipping and handling. You do not get a lot for the $80 but the individual workouts are the real star of the program.  On the plus side it does come with a 30-day money-back guarantee, minus the shipping and handling cost, so those that don't feel the program is right for them can return it for a refund.  However, this is a Beachbody product that was designed by fitness guru Tony Horton.  The Beachbody products and Tony Horton's other popular program, P90X, have received great reviews and the 10 Minute Trainer workouts have also received positive comments from the masses.   It's a good program for those looking for a quick workout on days that they can't invest a good amount of time however keep in mind that the 10 minute luxury does come at a higher price tag.
